Students from local Baltimore area schools can register for a week of service and learning with The Center. Our partners in the Greenmount West neighborhood of Baltimore City work year-round to make their community a more beautiful and just place to live. Projects include neighborhood trash clean ups, repair scouting to help neighbors more accurately advocate for city resources like sidewalk and storm drain repairs, and food distribution to 65 households in need of a little extra food support during the pandemic. The Center will have staff on site with youth participants all week, and will lead reflections to help deepen awareness of the history, policy, and relationships that have led to the community as it is now.
