Eliot Community Human Services, one of Massachusetts largest non-profit agencies, is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well functioning. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment. This position is based out of the North Shore area. Responsibilities: Completing all work orders, routine and emergency maintenance for assigned buildings. Managing the electronic work order system. Performing hands on repairs to assigned locations including but not limited to carpentry and general repairs. Conducting routine inspections of all assigned buildings. Adhering to maintenance policies and compliance with licensing/regulatory requirements. Participating in special building projects as directed by supervisor. Evening and weekend emergency on-call coverage for assigned buildings as necessary. Requirements: Min 3 years of experience Be hands on, with through attention to detail. Have a General Contractor and driver’s license. Needs excellent written and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, building codes, construction methods, and project management. Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends for on-call emergencies. Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am- 4pm (can be flexible) Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 Eliot is a non-profit human service organization with more than 2,000 employees who work each day to enhance the lives of Massachusetts most vulnerable populations.
