Flambeaux Tours is currently looking for someone with a big personality to lead our Nightlife Bicycle Rides. The applicant must be good with people of diverse backgrounds with an emphasis in hospitality. Our bicycle rides cater to the New Orleans bounce and hip hop culture. Needless to say the applicant must be knowledgable about New Orleans bounce artist, music, and overall culture. A big part of being the lead of the night ride is to be a DJ and keep the energy flowing. This is a part time position that consist of working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. The guide will work as an independent contractor at a pay rate of $20 an hour. As a small business that thrives on reputation, we are looking for folks that enjoy interacting with people of various cultures, that take care to have a neat appearance, and have good hygiene (wearing deodorant is a requirement). The Nightlife Ride lead must have a basic understanding of bike mechanics. If the applicant doesn’t posses this knowledge training can be provided. But if the applicant doesn’t think that changing a flat tire while on a ride is a skill that can be acquired, this position may not be the right fit.
