Boombox: the '70s and '80s Experience returns to the shores of Lake Quinsig. Boombox: the '70s and '80s Experience returns to the shores of Lake Quinsig. Our lunchbox is packed with song snacks that range from new wave to disco to classic rock to hair band rockers. Our setlists are ALWAYS changing and we're adding new songs with each show. Plus, you've likely not seen us in a while given the, you know....deadly pandemic that stopped everything. You know the drill: it's one '70s set and one '80s set. It's more than a band - it's a SHOW. The Marine Corps League is located on Lake Quinsigamond, and Boombox will be playing outside if the weather is nice. Often, there are boats docked outside listening to the bands, as well. Wave to the boaters and welcome them. There are two full bars with two bartenders at each bar, and also 2 fire pits on the patio. This place is fun, and if you have an ounce of fun in you, you should be there.
