Schedule a meet & greet and begin the adoption process at Annenberg PetSpace! Wallis Annenberg PetSpace is excited to offer adoptions by appointment in a supportive, flexible, and educational environment. We look forward to helping you match with the right pet and are here to guide you through the process. Our Current Adoption Process: Choose an available date and time for your adoption visit. During your appointment, you will meet with our Adoption Specialists to discuss any of the adoptable dogs or cats currently available. You can share what you are looking for in a pet so we can help find the right fit for your home. (View our website for the latest list of adoptables.) Immediately following the discussion, our Adoption Specialists will introduce you to the pet you are interested in adopting to see if it's a fit. Once you conclude your meet and greet and determine it's a match, our Adoption Specialists will finalize the adoption of your new furry family member. Note: To help manage demand and allow us to offer a variety of pets to each adopter, we will be offering more appointments on a weekly basis. If no times are currently open, be sure to check back soon. We ask that you only make one appointment in a week to allow for others to schedule adoption appointments. Many of our adoptable pets are receiving an influx of inquiries during this time and we are completing adoptions on a first-come, first-serve basis. Because of this, pets listed on the day you make your reservation may not still be available on the day of your appointment. We intake a variety of new dogs and cats on a regular basis however, so new animals may be available to choose from as well. We encourage bringing up to 3 members of your household who are important in making an adoption decision, as you will need to make that decision by the end of the appointment. Appointments are open to a maximum of four members of the same household, due to social distancing limits. Please inform us of the size of your party in the designated fields of the registration page. Additionally, if you are bringing a current household dog, we ask that you let us know in advance. In order to provide the best adoption experience and accommodate for safety procedures, we encourage guests to arrive up to 15 minutes early. Please note that late arrivals 10 minutes past your booked appointment time will have to be rescheduled. We will not have staff available to supervise any visiting dogs, so please be sure to bring a friend or family member to stay with your pet while you complete the adoption process. COVID-19 Guidelines for Annenberg PetSpace During these times, Annenberg PetSpace is implementing additional safety rules and regulations for any guests entering the space. Please adhere to the following guidelines and processes outlined below: Guests must sign a waiver We’ve implemented a variety of safety measures and are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe. We are asking each guest to sign a waiver upon arrival, as an acknowledgement that you are making the choice to enter the space and associated areas. As we continue to contend with the spread of Covid-19, there are still some risks involved, whenever you leave your home. Guests will also receive a contactless temperature check before entry. A face covering/mask must be worn at all times while at the space Per the City of Los Angeles guidelines, Mayor Eric Garcetti has issued an order requiring Angelenos to wear face coverings when they leave their homes and will be near other people. Face coverings that protect the nose and mouth help stop the spread of the virus and wearing them in public creates a layer of protection. Masks must be worn in outdoor areas as well. Please practice safe physical distancing We ask that guests practice safe physical distancing of at least 6 feet in all settings in and around the space.
