Madbury Property Management is a leading property management company that owns and operates a diverse portfolio of student housing, multi-family housing, and commercial properties throughout the Seacoast area. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who is responsible for diagnosing maintenance issues, making necessary repairs and ensuring all resident service requests and other community maintenance is completed in a timely manner. Position Title: Maintenance Technician (Full-Time) Reports to: Facilities Manager Essential Functions: The following list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented or changed as necessary. • Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas and assist in the daily clean up of the exterior of the property including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas. • Assist with the scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events. • Work with Maintenance Supervisor to maintain an effective preventative maintenance program. • Maintain accurate records in work order management system. • Communicate effectively with residents, fellow employees, vendors and supervisors. • Comply with all personnel management policies and procedures. • Performs other duties as required by management. Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, Abilities: - Major appliances - Basic-Intermediate plumbing - Basic-Intermediate electrical (when no license required) - General carpentry - Landscaping - Ice/snow/ trash removal - General Facility/ Building Maintenance • Ability to handle after hours emergency calls, and be on-call as needed. • Possession of a valid, state-issued driver's license and safe driving record is also required. Physical Activities: Requires frequent lifting, pushing, and moving of up to 90 pounds when using machinery and equipment for essential maintenance tasks.
