Parakeets and special needs sun conure

Description

With a very heavy heart, I’m possibly looking to rehome my splayed leg sun conure with a pair of parakeets. None are dna sexed and I’m not sure of their exact ages. The conure is about 8-10 months old and I’d guess that the parakeets are about a 1-1.5 years old. The conure had been handfed partially by me but since weaning, he has slowly become less loving towards people bc I can no longer bring him to work with me and I just have less and less time to spend trying to gain back the trust we once had. I would constantly notice how lonely he seemed whenever he was left alone but my other birds, never gave him the time of day and would either be afraid of or try to bully him. Once he molted and had tons of pin feathers, I decided to slowly introduce my parakeet pair to the sun conure to help him reach the ones he couldn’t and the ones I wasn’t allowed to touch. They’ve been together since and seem to enjoy each other’s company. I know it’s not recommended to keep these species together, but there hasn’t been any issues with aggression because the sun conure can’t chase the parakeets and the parakeets mostly keep to themselves. None of them are aggressive towards human, but mostly fearful and will bite when scared. I want to keep the trio together and would prefer they go to someone who has bird knowledge as well as knowledge of splayed leg birds. It breaks my heart to find them a new home but I don’t have the time to give them the love they need and deserve. He is fairly quiet for a sun conure, mostly only screams for food/treats or when it’s very excited. They all eat a mix of zupreem naturals and fruit blend as well as chopped vegetables and fruits daily. They only get seed once a week or as a treat. Unfortunately they can’t go with their current cage but I may have an extra cage that is suitable for the three of them if it’s needed. Will go with all of their belongings, (perches, toys, bowls) a travel cage, and some food. Asking of a rehoming fee of $150 with cage or $100 without. Rehoming fee is negotiable but I will be asking lots of questions to make sure they go to the best possible home! Please text or email with any questions. I’ll get photos up as soon as I have time. Thank you.
