Mahan the Band MAHAN the band is a rock, blues, and jam group based out of Lawrence and Kansas City fronted by Howard Mahan on guitar. With many original tunes and deep cut covers, the band prides itself on providing a unique and in the moment experience with every show. Over the past year Howard has played with several KC and national favorites including collaborations with Levee Town, the Levee Workers, Nick Schnebelen, The Old No. 5’s, Taylor Smith, the House Rockers, and Randy McAllister. Paul Greenlease is holding down the low end on bass. Trained by Musician’s Institute in LA and having played with some of the biggest names in KC, Paul’s unique, musical, and virtuosic approach to bass is remarkable. Landon Livingston holds the group together on drums. From a pure rock and roll background to collegiate jazz training, Landon’s style is also unique in its blend of power and finesse. Tickets are $15 + fees until the show or $20 day-of at the door. Doors open at 6:30pm, concert starts at 7:30pm. Maximum capacity for the theater is 270, but we will be limiting ticket sales to 130 to allow for safety and proper social distancing. Concert will be in the theater with auditorium seating.
