Looking for a home for a 10 month old Rottweiller German Shephard. Duke is a very sweet dog who loves to snuggle and be with his family. We got him and his sister when they were 6 weeks old. But we aren't able to keep them both. He is fixed, has all his shots and is micro chipped. We can provide full vet records. He has basic obedience training, but needs more training and more socialization. Due to covid he hasn't been out much so he gets nervous around lots of new people. He will need a loving family that is patient with him as he adapts to his new surroundings. He is a great family dog, our kids love to snuggle with him, and is a great guard dog. He does well with kids and dogs as long as he's given a chance to get to know them. He would probably do best with older kids, he accidently knocks over our 4 and 5 year old when he gets excited, but that is expected from a big puppy. He will come with his crate, a few toys, his harness, his dog bowl, and his leash. He is crate trained but he's not used to staying in his crate all day. His favorite things to do are chase squirrels in the yard, play fetch, or sit under my desk while I work. He has some leash traning, but he needs more. He knows sit, stay, come, wait, leave it, drop it, and fetch. He is a very smart dog but he has the rottwiller stubborness. He has to know you are serious before he will obey you.
