I have a yellow belly slider, Littlefoot, that we took in as a foster. Currently in a lid-less 40gal with a Cascade Penn-Plax filter and would come with the sturdy coffee table the tank sits on and his duel uvb heat spotlight, timer, and water heater, though the heater has seen better days and you’ll probably want a new one. Honestly he needs a bigger tank as his shell is about 5-6 inches. He eats turtle pellets and various fish, he REALLY likes baby koi fish as a treat. Haven’t tried shrimp or frogs but I’m sure he’d eat those too. I’ve tried to give him veggies but he absolutely refuses, maybe you’ll have better luck. You’ll need a new dock as his recently broke, he has a smaller floating dock that he kind of just rides around the tank like a boat, I think it’s weird but he seems to enjoy it. He’s fairly social in the water, he likes to flirt with your thumb if you put it up to the glass, and he likes to crawl around on grass for a bit on warmer days. We’re getting ready to move and aren’t going to be able to afford a bigger tank for a while and I think it’s time he finds his forever home.
