ABOUT US: Systematic Wood Designs is a local company that manufacturers cabinet and commercial casework for multiple projects at a time. We have a shop downtown Walla Walla and looking for someone that is interested in working in a shop environment to help with the fabrication of cabinet / casework. No experience necessary. JOB DESCRIPTION: Cabinetry Assembler Assistant Help assemble cabinets Keep miscellaneous day to day activities running smooth in shop. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Able to measure dimensions and read a tape measure Knowledge of small hand tools Able to perform arithmetic with fractions Physically able to safely stoop, bend, lift and maneuver heavy items Able to safely lift 50 to 75 pounds regularly without assistance Good attendance, positive attitude and energetic Must be able to understand and follow directions Work well as part of a team and on occasion with minimal supervision Driver’s license (may drive the company vehicle or perform deliveries) High School Diploma (HSD) or equivalent DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Cabinet experience Construction experience Woodworking background HOURS: Full-time position 40 hours per week SALARY/ WAGE/ BENEFITS: $15.00 per hour CLOSING DATE/ DEADLINE: Open until filled HOW TO APPLY: Click on “Apply Now” Follow the instructions May also drop off a resume in person at t.h.e.
