A specialty laborer/ installer will work on various projects throughout the Texas area, installing rain-screen panel systems. Specialty laborer/ installer are task to, but not limited to, maintain equipment and tools required on-site and at the warehouse, perform job site setup, make accurate measurements quickly, comfortable working on lifts and platforms, and work with power tools skillfully and safely. Location: Varies based on project location (Texas Area) Employment Type: Temporary and Full time Starting at $14+ (based on experience) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Check work area for hazards. Clean up dirt and debris in work area. Maintain a clean work area. Read architectural drawings. Perform various general labor duties as assigned. Perform work outdoors. Use basic hand tools: tape measure, hammer, pliers, etc. Use power tools: drills, saws, handheld grinders. Perform heavy lifting. Adhere to safety requirements and equipment guidelines. Travel as needed to and from job sites. Adhere to all company policies and procedure Requirements Two years of high school and six to twelve months related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Read and comprehend instructions - ability to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization. Apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Construction knowledge and experience preferred. Forklift experience and light equipment operation experience preferred.
