Civil Air Patrol is recruiting in Adrian, Michigan! Never heard of us? Civil Air Partol is the official Auxiliary of the US Air Force. We have been around for 80+ years, and has 3 main missions: Emergency services & disaster relief, 2) Aerospace Education, and 3) Cadet Programs. We are civilian organization and you are NOT obligated tp join the military, although membership on Civil Air Patrol afford you numerous benefits (advance promotion, for example). This post concerns our Cadet Programs. We are currently conducting our 2021 recruiting drive. We are having an open house Tuesday, May 25th from 7-9pm. The open house will be at the Lenawee County Airport (ADG) on Cadmus Rd. Our building is the main terminal parking lot. ALL are welcome, but we are specifically looking for Cadets, aged 12-18. We are also looking for responsible adults who would like to work and help support with the Cadets in their numerous activities. Membership is less that $100 to join and than $40 a year thereafter. Tuesday's meeting is not just going to be about recruiting. It's going to be about self disciple, self motivation, and using your own personal strengths. It will be just a small sample of the power of our ability to positively guide and influence our youth. Personally, I joined as a Cadet at age 13, and it literally saved my life. CAP taught me discipline, self esteem, and personal motivation. I literally travelled around the world with Civil Air Patrol. Advance warning: We only have spaces available for 25 or so new Cadets.
