This is Rusty! He is an Australian shepherd mix believed to be 2-3 years old. He was adopted from the animal shelter so his exact info is unknown. He is neutered and up to date on shots. Rusty is an eager to please dog and highly food motivated - my kids taught him the commands “sit. Lay down. And paw”. He will follow you wherever you go and likes to be involved. He loves anyone that will pet him and give him belly rubs. Also loves to sunbathe, and play with toys. Unfortunately it is not working out for him in our home. Our other dog is just too much energy and constantly harasses him to play. He doesn’t show any signs of aggression… he just runs and tries to hide when he’s tuckered out. Of course that seems like a game to a younger high-energy dog. It’s just not fair to him. He needs a mellow home to match his mellow personality. Will you give him a chance?
