Responsibilities • Effectively work with a crew to install and seal roof attachments, equipment racking supports and solar panels • Provide limited assistance with electrical wiring of solar array/system (DC and AC) in addition to installing raceways around residential and commercial applications include roofs, attics, walls. • Installing solar PV systems • Arrive at job site at scheduled time • Act courteous and professional, respect the customers home • Climbing ladders and working at elevated heights of two or more stories • Lifting 60-pound inverters to chest height • Operating power tools, saws, drills, ladder lifts and light duty equipment • Knowledge and comfort with OSHA safety standards and strict adherence to company safety policies regarding fall protection, protective equipment, tailgate training and more • Communicate with the construction manager and customer during the installation • Climb ladders and work at elevated heights of two or more stories on various roof types Requirements • HS Diploma or Higher Education • Two year of solar installation experience preferred but candidates with general construction experience will be considered. • Valid Driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen • Basic knowledge of residential and commercial solar PV systems • Excellent customer service skills in addition to solid verbal and written communication skills • OSHA 10 Certification preferred • Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills • Must be highly motivated • Personal means of reliable transportation to and from every job site, whenever company vehicle is not issued • Maintain a safe and clean work environment • Maintain a professional appearance and character on all job sites and with all customers and at all times Equal Employment Opportunity It is Spreck Energy’s policy to provide equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees.
