PATCHOGUE, NY — The former Public House 49 in Patchogue has been transformed into a brand-new bar/restaurant concept. The popular hotspot on 49 E. Main Street announced last year it was closing down to "undergo changes." After over a year, the owners Frank Bragaglia and Brad Wilson officially reopened the business last week as the new eatery, Standard Rec. A major change to the business is the addition of entertainment for guests to enjoy. In addition to food from a scratch kitchen and cocktails, Standard Rec will have board games and arcade games, such as Ms. Pac Man and skee ball, according to GreaterPatchogue.
