Lake County's version of Dancing with the Stars The Education Foundation of Lake County is pleased to host the 15th Annual Stepping Out for Education where local celebrities compete on the ballroom floor! The three female and three male competitors will step out of their comfort zone during two full performances: Friday, July 23, 2021 and Saturday, July 24, 2021. This year's event is at a new venue, with a new format. The theater-style seating in the Clermont Performing Arts Center Black Box Theater offers an intimate atmosphere with unobstructed views of the entertainment onstage. The six local celebrities and their professional dance partners will dance the Fox Trot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing and Tango. Each celebrity receives 20 hours of instruction and will be ready to perform for you! This year's celebrity dancers are: Dr. Emily Feltner, Assistant Superintendent, Lake County Schools Kristin Jamieson, Branch Manager, Success Mortgage Partners Dina Simpson, Owner, Renew Day Spa and Renew Hair Salon Tyler J. Borowski, Deputy Tax Collector, Lake County Tax Collector Jerome Brouhard, Manager and Sommelier, Maggie's Attic Mayor Tim Murry, City of Clermont The evening will begin with hot hors d'oeuvres catered by Lake County Schools Culinary departments in the center lobby. A champagne and dessert reception, sponsored by Kevco Builders, will be offered during intermission. All proceeds benefit students and teachers in Lake County Schools.
