Press release from Lindenhurst Union Free School District: May 20, 2021 On May 7, students in the ABA program at the Daniel Street Elementary School in the Lindenhurst Union Free School District took part in a painting workshop with The Color Palette Art Studio of Lindenhurst. Owner Liz Gilmore appeared on the students' classroom Smart Boards and provided each class with step-by-step instructions on how to complete a painting of birds on a branch. Using pre-arranged materials, the students proudly created their own version of the painting. "All of our students did an amazing job following directions," said teacher Nicole Fellin. "It was a lot of fun. Hopefully, we will be able to get back there in person next year, but this was a great alternative." This press release was produced by Lindenhurst Union Free School District.
