Waypoint Sign Company is the premier architectural signage company in the Seattle Metro area. We specialize in full service wayfinding signage for large scale residential and commercial buildings. In this role, you will: Assist in the assembly, organization and preparation of manufactured signs and graphics for installation. The ideal candidate will draw from a large array of accumulated skills to fabricate a variety of custom signage. The Senior Fabricator role requires careful attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills. Team members work on multiple fabrication projects, and an ability to follow direction from supervisors and remain focused and productive is required. Teamwork and safety are emphasized. We are looking for candidates who have: • 4+ years of sign shop or fabrication experience • Advanced knowledge of tools and hardware • Metal fabrication and woodworking knowledge • Ability to read and build from shop drawings • Vinyl application experience • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, as pickups and deliveries in company vehicle will be required • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 lbs. • Dependable, efficient, well-organized and goal-oriented • Knowledge of safe working practices Bonus skills (desired but not required): • Knowledge of specialized sign shop machinery such as printer, plotter, laminator, engraver, laser, CNC, etc. • Paint and wood finishing experience • Construction industry or manufacturing related experience • Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience • Forklift certification • Any post high school education or certifications Great benefits, perks, and work environment: • This position is full time and non-exempt (eligible for overtime). • Full-time employees receive excellent medical benefits, PTO, paid holidays, and an optional 401(k) retirement program. • Employees have access to free, on-site parking and convenient access to public transportation. • Work environment is creative and collaborative. • Many opportunities for ongoing learning, skill development, and career growth.
