Do you have forklift experience? Looking for a new start? Avrio Surfaces is now hiring! As a forklift operator, you will be moving large countertop slabs. Training available! We are looking for serious candidates who are willing to grow. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of one (1) year truck loading experience required • On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties and become forklift certified by Basalite • Requires good communication skills and ability to listen and follow directions • Requires basic reading, writing and math skills • Requires a working knowledge of plant operating and inventory systems. • Ability to operate a forklift and load/unload trucks, trailers and other vehicles (including ramps) efficiently, quickly and safely in all kinds of weather. • Regular attendance is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, climbing (up-and-down from a forklift), stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms. • Lifting frequently 25-75 lbs.; and 75-100 pounds occasionally.
