Hi, my name is BELLA and I would love to meet you. I am a Spayed Female Chihuahua - Smooth Coated. The shelter staff think I am about 7-8 years old. I have been at the shelter since May 07, 2021. Meet Bella! This lovely lady came to the shelter as a stray so shelter staff and volunteers are still learning about her! Personality: Bella is a very sweet gal who may need extra time to feel safe and comfortable in her new home. She is just looking for someone who she can cuddle on the couch with all day! History: Her history with cats and smaller animals are unknown. What we do know about her, is that she can tend to rival other dogs. We always recommend SLOW and CAREFUL introductions to be done over time to any other pets. Energy levels: Dont let her age fool you, she loves to go on walks and enjoy LOTS and LOTS of cuddles! Ideal home: She would appreciate a calm household where she can enjoy lifes quiet moments! Bella has EXISITING MEDICAL that her future parents will need to be able to take on. Family: Her new family should have experience with SHY/FEARFUL PUPS and be willing to give her time and space to warm up to her new family. Everyone in the home should be present to meet her prior to adoption! Children in the home should be old enough (10+) to understand her body language as she can be very scared of loud noises!
