The Impact of The Coronavirus & Mental Health FREE EVENT!! Well Happy 2021! It’s Time For A Mental Health Re-Set for 2021! It is hard to believe it is 2021! For me and so many others 2020 was a blur. It seems that the year came in and went out so quickly! As we all know, 2020 was a trying year for all. Some of us experienced great loss of friends, and family, whether COVID-19 related or not. We all experienced a loss of freedom, loss of jobs, businesses, and most importantly a loss of our previous normal lifestyles. We are currently experiencing a new normal if you can call it normal. Moving forward, I know the life we lived will never be the same! To help in this adjustment, the focus of Sip N Chat will address some of our current concerns regarding mental health, fear, depression, working from home, children learning remotely and how to adjust to the changes in our lives. Sip N Chat will be starting our 2021 sessions effective June 12, 2021. This year we will be focusing on maintaining good mental health. Our first session will focus on taking a mental health break! What does this look like? Have you experience loss of employment, loss a family and friend, struggling with fear or depression? Are you overwhelmed from coping with working from home, being limited in traveling, home schooling and the list goes on? We will focus on walking in good mental health in June!. Also, later in the year we will incorporate special sessions especially for children. Our guest speaker, Bishop Alfonzo Smith, will give you vital tips on functioning during these trying times. Bishop Smith received his formal education from Eastern Michigan University, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He received his BA degree in Social Work, BA degree in Criminal Justice, MA degree in Guidance and Counseling, and MA degree in Education. Bishop also received his honorary doctorate degree from All Nations School of Ministry and he is only a few credits from completing his Ph.D. in Psychology. Bishop Smith is the author of six books including his latest, "50 Days to a Spiritual Makeover." Adult men and women are welcomed to join this session!! Vendor opportunities available! Sip N Chat will follow the CDC Guidelines to ensure the safety all those who will be in attendance. We will be practicing social distancing; seating and vendor stations will be 6ft apart. We will have mandatory temperature checks before entering the sessions and masks are always mandatory for the duration of the seminar. Assigned areas will have fully stocked sanitizing stations.
