STAMFORD, CT — Emergency units responded to a fire on the roof of a building in downtown Stamford on Friday morning.
According to Lt. Steve Klee of the Stamford Fire Department, the fire was located at the Smyth Building, which is currently under construction.
"The fire is under control. Units are starting to clear out," Klee said.

Atlantic Street, Tresser Boulevard, Bell Street, and Washington Boulevard will experience traffic delays.
