The Doylestown Pride Festival Returns this June! Doylestown welcomes the return of our Pride Festival on June 12 - 19th, 2021. With the goal of celebrating diverse sexual orientations and gender identities in the Doylestown community, a collection of local organizations and businesses came together to create this local tradition. The multi-day event will feature a series of Outdoor Film Screenings, Pride Music Day, and various pop-up events and celebrations throughout the community. Performers: DJ CHRIS + MIKE OF BORN LOSERS RECORDS: Formed in 2016, Born Losers Records is a boutique label from Philadelphia (secretly, they're based in Doylestown) that specializes in vinyl and tape releases. Chris and Mike also split their time playing in Philadelphia based band Suburban Living. Website: bornlosersrecords.com Froggy : froggy is a riot grrrl band from the philly area... formed in 2020 by morgan, brooke, and fiona! they recently released their first ep on valentine’s day of this year, with a large variety of inspiration from L7 and Alice in Chains to Bikini Kill, the Dead Milkmen, and Eric Andre. Listen to Froggy: froggytheband.bandcamp.com Lizdelise: Philadelphia indie trio Lizdelise, led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Liz de Lise have garnered local acclaim since their inception in 2014. Body was recorded at Headroom Studios in Philadelphia, PA by Lizdelise bassist and collaborator Mark Watter. Alyssa Resh rounds out their line-up on drums, though the drums on Body were played by Sam Huntington. The group is preparing to release their new collection of sounds Body on Sheer Luck Records. The four songs are Lizdelise's most fully realized masterpieces yet, reminiscent of St. Vincent, Japanese Breakfast, and Dirty Projectors. Pulling influence from glam, new-wave, early alternative (Sonic Youth, Pixies), and horror movies, they've crafted a unique set of torch songs for weirdos and misfits of all kinds that tie together into a tight and theatrical live show.
