ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County is offering free walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 12-17 over the next week and beyond. Individuals ages 12-17 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can provide permission to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. As of Friday morning, 215,777 doses of COVID-19 have been administered in the Arlington Health District and 98,511 people have been fully vaccinated, according to the Virginia Department of Health. Statewide, 7,760,493 doses have been administered and 3,545,104 Virginians are fully vaccinated. All county residents have to do to schedule an appointment directly at one of Arlington's public health clinics is to visit the county's website or search for an appointment at nearby locations by searching VaccineFinder.org.
