Wayfarer is a refined (but fun) mobile bartending and hospitality team focused on good drinks, good people, good vibes, and good times. Based in Santa Cruz, CA we are looking to grow our on-call event staff team in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Napa/Sonoma. Core Responsibilities: Assist with setup and breakdown of events Deliver exceptional, personalized service to every guest, host, and vendor Prep, stock and maintain work station according to company specifications Work with other catering teams that we partner with on events to provide serving and bussing services Help maintain a clean event space Be able to educate guests on the beverages you are serving at each event Always serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and never over serve guest Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Have reliable transportation to and from event locations. We work from Big Sur to Napa/Sonoma. You get to pick which shifts and locations you want to work. Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service. Current ServSafe Certificate (or willingness to get one) Must be authorized to work in the United States Excellent verbal and written skills The ability to stand on your feet for 4+ hours The ability to multitask and pay attention to detail The ability to lift 25+ pounds The ability to safely, carefully, and properly make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes This is an on-call position for an average of 1-2 shifts per week To apply: Please send us a response with your full name, your resume, or a link to your website or LinkedIn profile and tell us a little bit about yourself and why you might be interested in working with us.
