ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is looking for homes for these cuties. If you are interested in adopting one of this week's adorable adoptables, head to the SPCA website. Miss Kitty: Miss Kitty has had a hard life. She was found under a dumpster at 6 weeks old and had every parasite in the book including fleas, ringworm, and giardia. She also has a grade 5/6 heart murmur. After many months of TLC from the SPCA staff and a couple trips to the cardiologist, Miss Kitty is finally ready to find her family. She takes two daily medications for her heart and while we do not know how much time she has, we are committed to making sure the time she does have is as happy as possible! Miss Kitty loves to play and she loves to snuggle, and we'd love nothing more than to see her enjoying a forever home. Keegan: Meet Keegan! This handsome fella arrived with a wounded toe that just wouldn't heal. Unfortunately it was determined to have been caused by cancer, and his leg had to be amputated in order to save him. Keegan quickly learned how to get around on three legs and it hasn't slowed him down one bit. He is all healed up now and feeling great! Keegan is an affectionate and adorable cat. He has a laid back attitude and gets along with everyone he meets. Billy Cat: Billy Cat is the whole package- well, except for a tail! Billy Cat is looking for a calm home to retire to and enjoy his golden years. Like many Manx cats, Billy Cat has some trouble passing stool. He takes several daily medications to keep things moving along smoothly, and occasionally requires a little extra clean-up. If you are looking to truly help a cat in need, please consider Billy. He may look a little crabby, but his personality is actually quite loving and sweet! He is a great pal and loves to follow people around for attention. Gage: Don't let the sad face fool you, Gage is a happy and lovable pup! He is a 1.5-year-old pitbull mix who loves everyone he meets. Gage has been doing well in playgroups with other high-energy dogs who share his enthusiasm for wrestling. He enjoys taking walks and he really loves attention. Gage would appreciate an active home with a family to take him hiking and adventuring together. Subscribe to your local Patch newsletter.
