Van, Trailer, Dirt Bike Stolen In Annapolis: Police

ANNAPOLIS, MD —Police said a van, a trailer and a dirt bike were all stolen last weekend in Annapolis. Officers did not indicate that the incidents were connected. Van Authorities heard word of the van theft Friday around 7:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Taylor Avenue, an incident report noted. Police mentioned that the inoperable work vehicle was previously parked in the company's lot. Officers advised that they found the van in Baltimore by using the vehicle's GPS. The van has since returned, the write-up added. Trailer Police wrote that they responded to the trailer theft around 10:59 a.m. the same day in the 100 block of Gibralter Avenue. The work trailer contained about $60,000 worth of equipment, the press release explained. Dirt Bike Officers informed that a thief nabbed the dirt bike sometime Sunday from the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue. The Annapolis Police Department reported that the 2021 Kawasaki dirt bike was left unsecured in the victim's backyard. Authorities concluded that the bike was worth $2,500.
