Vietnam Veterans and allies rally together at 11am on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Club E Atlanta. Reverend Eldson McGhee and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter No 1118, Inc. have called a Pre-Memorial Day Press Conference at 11am on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Club E Atlanta, 3707 Main Street, College Park, GA 30337, to unveil their fundraising campaign to build the Sons of Atlanta Vietnam War Memorial Project and to publicly lay out their concerns to President Joe Biden regarding pressing veterans issues such as Agent Orange, Burn Pits, Camp Lejeune Contaminated Water issues, Community Care services at VA, and Veterans Suicides. They are calling their local elected officials, 5th District Congresswoman Frederica Smith Wilson and both Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, to come stand with them. Veterans are active voters nationally, and while this group of veterans are primarily residents of Fulton County, Georgia, the topics they are raising are of concern to veterans nationwide. They are rallying all veterans to remember these issues of influence in upcoming elections. The media is welcome to attend this event.
