LAKEWOOD, CO — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday in Lakewood, police said. Officers were called to South Kipling Street and West Exposition Avenue around 7:30 p.m. after the crash was reported. The motorcyclist was northbound on Kipling Street, when he ran a red light at Exposition Avenue and struck the side of an SUV, Lakewood police said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Kipling Street was closed in the area for several hours while police investigated the crash. The identity of the man who died has not been released.
