Painters wanted! We are building out a small crew of painters for a big summer! We are a local painting and carpentry sub-contractor based out of Denver. We have recently secured contracts for work doing commercial painting at various retail store locations. There are various projects lined up through the end of the summer into October. There will be plenty of work for the right people. Ideal candidates will have: Experience painting - This includes using a roller on a long extension pole to paint areas overhead, the ability to hand cut edges and corners with a brush cleanly, the ability to clean and maintain equipment such as paint brushes rollers etc, and the ability to do this without leaving drips, splatters, and inconsistencies in the paint coat Experience using mechanical lifts and working on ladders The ability to work 10-12 hour shifts overnight (much of the work in commercial spaces takes place when the store is closed and there are no customers inside) The ability to lift 50lbs Qualities we are looking for in our crew members: CLEAN - The ability to keep a clean work area and protect the areas and merchandise of the store from paint contamination On time Great attention to detail Work quickly and efficiently Able to take on minor/medium level tasks unsupervised with proper instruction and info (i.e. here's a diagram, go cut tape and paint this area with two coats and come back when you're done) Starting pay is 25/hr. There will be room to significantly increase your hourly pay once we have assessed your skill level and reliability. If you meet all of our standards and become a valuable part of the team we have no problem paying more!
