Hi I’m selling my blue and gold macaw, his name is Simba and I’ve had him for a whole year. He does talk and loves to receive toys, he isn’t much trained but with a lot of time and dedication he can. He isn’t clipped so don’t try to take him out or he will most likely fly away, this macaw does seek a lot of attention so he will scream until someone comes to him or he screams for food or treats... so if you can’t handle a screaming parrot maybe he isn’t right for you. His age is 17 years, fully feathered, but does have some aggression when people want to touch him so I advice to not touch him although it isn’t impossible to have him trained to being pet. He does raise his feet up to be carried but he will occasionally try to strike you when you either look at him or even stop walking around the house. Regardless loving him isn’t impossible without touching him, we leave him be with his cage open and he hangs around his cage or his perch and we respect his personal bubble space. Just by talking to him or admiring his beauty can work. Price is negotiable
