EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The American Lung Association will host its 13th annual Fight For Air Climb on Saturday, May 22 from 9-11 a.m. at Pierce Memorial Stadium. The event will support research, advocacy, and education for lung diseases, lung cancer, and COVID-19 by striving to reach its fundraising goal of $100,000. The Fight For Air Climb will operate with a "Climb Safe Commitment," which will include COVID=19 safety protocols such as spatial distancing, health screening, sanitation protocols, and face masks. The American Lung Association has been funding and advocating for lung disease research and education for over too years. Donations can be made on the organization's website.
