BURNSVILLE, MN— The city of Burnsville recently launched a two-year contract with Center for Energy and Environment, which will cut home energy audit costs in half for residents, Sun Thisweek reported.
The city has budgeted $10,000 to cover half the costs of the audits, the publication reported.
The CEE recommends that home energy audits cost $100 for homes built before 2000 and $70 for homes built after 2000, the publication reported.
