DANVILLE, CA — Traffic: It's an unavoidable reality sometimes. But Danville has got it really good, according to a recently released report.
INRIX analyzed traffic signal performance at intersections across the country, and found how much time traffic signals spend on green and times of peak demand.
Nearly all intersections in Danville are in the least-delayed green range, which indicates minimal delays of no more than 20 seconds per car. Fortunately, no local intersections were in the most-delayed red range, which indicates cars may spend 55 seconds or more waiting at a light.
Just two intersections were in the intermediate range with delays of 20 to 35 seconds, according to the INRIX report.
