BLACKHAWK, CA — A fire broke out overnight on South Gate Road in Mt. Diablo State Park, according to Cal Fire. Firefighters attacked the flames aggressively and halted forward progress at 5 acres, Cal Fire reported on social media shortly before 4 a.m. Friday. Additional resources were committed to the fire mop-up.
