Rigby is a 9 year old male Australian Shephard/Golden Retriever. We need to rehome him ASAP as we are moving to Alaska in a month. We have had Rigby since he was 8 weeks old and he is fully vaccinated. He would do best in a home without small children because he gets a little stressed out since he is a herding dog. He does well with older children and adults. Rigby is a very loyal dog and understands basic commands like sit, lay, and stay. He is a large dog and very strong, and does not do great on a leash. He prefers to be inside with the family where he can keep track of you. Rigby has hypothyroidism and is on Levothyroxine. We have his pills and Rx, but needs a blood draw every 12 months to verify he is on the right dosage. In all his pills run about $10/month. Please only serious inquiries.
