Press release from the City of Syracuse: May 21, 2021 Mayor Walsh announced a road reconstruction project beginning Monday, May 24 on West Fayette Street on the City's west side. Crews will start milling (removing the top layer of existing pavement) and paving on West Fayette from South Geddes Street to West Wilbur Avenue. Paving and restriping will occur when milling is complete. The project is expected to continue through the end of the week. Temporary lane closures will occur. Detours will be marked.
