Bass player who knows a little theory (I'm not a professional) looking for someone to get together with at least once a week to collaborate with on original material (yours or mine). I like the contemporary jazz, R&B, and funk genres. I would be open to rock but not hard rock or heavy metal. I'm not a working musician so I guess you would say we would be getting together to jam, but "jamming with a purpose". I'm not interested in learning songs on the radio or songs from other established artists. I want to work on original stuff that we come up with. Maybe you have 2 or 3 chords that you like the sound of, or a guitar riff, or a melody that's swirling around in your head that you want to elaborate on. Let's get together, have some fun working it out and see what we come up with. If we come up with something we like and we want to see if other people like it, we'll put it out there to find out. No pressure, no egos, no arrogance, no obnoxiousness. Just a couple of cool people getting together having some fun jamming with a purpose and getting better together.
