CANDLE$ is a loud, moody three-piece with riffs seeking a freaked-out vocalist. Music influences are old school offbeat metal and punk: Neurosis, Nomeansno, Melvins, Drive Like Jehu, EHG, Slayer (Lombardo), Bauhaus. Vocalists we love: HR, PJ Harvey, Mike Scheidt, Mlny Parsonz, Jello Biafra, Amy Taylor, Sebastian Murphy, Julie Christmas, Mike IX, Siouxsie Sioux. All genders, LBGTQ, races, ages embraced. No black metal, deathcore, pop punk. No fascists. We have a lockout with PA.
