Position Overview The Laborer is responsible for loading company trucks with materials, keeping an accurate record of materials used on each job, assist Operators and Truck drivers, install utilities, spread rock, compact rock, etc. Must have the ability to lift 50lbs without assistance. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) * Keeps accurate records of materials used and completes required paperwork for billing. * Maintains equipment in a safe and clean condition. * Checks fluid levels, tires, lights, and other controls for safe operation. * Fuels truck. * Cleans truck by washing the outside and keeping the inside cab clean. * Informs Supervisor of any maintenance or repairs needed. Qualifications: Strong math/geometry skills for multi-level excavation projects. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
