Auto Parts Warehouse Employment type: full-time Very busy and long established Auto parts warehouse is looking for candidates for its shipping department for our warehouse in Covina. We are looking to fill the following position: Shipping clerk and shipping department head We are looking for an individual to assist in pulling orders, pack & ship for our wholesale customers for our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be - Self-motivated and a quick learner, some knowledge in automotive a plus - Have a high attention to detail – If this is not you please do not apply - excellent verbal and written communication skills - previous experience working in a distribution center a plus - comfortable giving and receiving constructive criticism - able to lift up to 40lbs regularly - thriving in a fast-paced environment JOB DUTIES: - Pull, organize and ship out distribution orders to customers in an accurate and timely manner. - Double check all orders that leave the building, and make sure they have the proper paperwork attached. - Pull orders, pack & ship. - Update orders into the our computer system. - Assist Receive Incoming Shipment when needed - Assist with Inventory Cycle counts as needed - Maintain warehouse cleanliness - Other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Must be comfortable with computers using shipping software. - Must be able to lift 40+lbs. - Must be familiar with a forklift - Must be reliable and on-time -Familiar with Microsoft Excel is a ++ Pay/benefits Starting at $16/hr Advancement opportunities available Holiday Pay and Vacation after one year of service working reg full time.
