Our firm is looking to hire a strong, reliable, part time ladder helper/driver (must have valid driver’s license), to assist our roof inspector in the setup of 40/60ft ladder for inspection appointments; as well as drive our inspector to and from these inspections (once/twice per week) in the New England area (MA, CT, RI, etc.). Vehicle and gas provided, as you will be driving our work vehicle (pickup truck) with our inspector. About Us: We are a local family owned business, providing residential and commercial property inspections throughout New England. As of recent, we are in need of a laborer/helper/driver to carry and setup our ladder/equipment for inspections and ensure the safety of our inspector on large/complex roof systems, (helper will not need to be on the roof but hold ladder in place upon setup). Being able to drive the work truck to said inspections is also a plus. Would be perfect for a college student, retiree, or someone looking to fill some free time. Lunch provided. Working in a respectful, upbeat environment. Requirements: - Need to be able to carry large aluminum ladders without strain; put on and off truck/setup on inspections & hold in place (at base/ground) during use. - Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record (no major violations). - Experienced/comfortable with driving a large vehicle/pickup truck - Knowledge and understanding of navigating with local maps or GPS - Professional, reliable (as our schedule is dependent on timing/appointments) Responsibilities: - Providing safe & comfortable ladder assistance on inspections - Deliver professional & reliable driving services for our inspector to various addresses and routes in a responsible and dependable manner; schedule set weekly/daily (one to two days a week as of now – subject to change based on performance and availability). - Following route and time schedule accurately and promptly as requested - Provide respectful company, as inspector will be making phone calls/reviewing assignments upon route to appointments Applicants Must Have: - Reliable transportation to get to and from office for truck/inspector pick up - A reliable phone with texting and GPS abilities - Ability to carry heavy ladders and secure ladder base upon inspections *Daily/Weekly Pay; extra pay for tarp removal/repairs made day of *Looking for someone to start early next week *Compensation to be discussed *If interested – Call Russell (508) 962-7249 (serious inquiries only)
