Studio Event Staffing Inc is seeking an experience leader to recruit, train and supervise our wait staff with flexible hours. Studio Event Staffing is a event staffing and catering company for country clubs, corporations, non-profit and private events throughout the New York City, Lower Westchester county and parts of New Jersey. We are seeking a dynamic person to lead and develop our staff. You will report directly to the president of the company and assist in creating a robust strategies to recruiting, hiring and developing new team members, enhance the staff training program, establish good customer service relationship with clients and scheduling staff's hours. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, creative in marketing ideas, and a strong seeking to grow with a company. QUALIFICATIONS *Minimum of 2 years of experience as a leader, or catering captain *Personable, dependable and always on time for work *Critical eye for detail and table maintenance *Quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment *Able to stand and walk for long periods of time *Ability to lift at least 20 pounds *Positive attitude and maintain professional appearance *Flexible schedule for afternoon and evening gigs *Thorough understanding of food and beverage service preferred *Must have strong experience in high end events, sit downs and buffets *Having your own transportation is a plus PRESENTATION *Professional, polished appearance *Clean, pressed, white, straight collared dress shirt *Non-slip, rubber soled, skid resistant dress shoes *Facial hair is short and well groomed *Visible tattoos to be covered with clothing, makeup or bandage Please send your resume for consideration.
