I agree. I wonder how many people know Communism was given birth by Germans? Not only was Marx German but the German military secretly sent Lenin and 29 other hard core Marxists to Russian when it was ultra vulnerable from losing WW1 (and social issues). Incomprehensible suffering resulted and Russia became the USSR, a cancerous tumor spreading its deathly cells everywhere. On Democrats and liberals. I am stolidly conservative but have went through transformation in the last decade. I know realize true Democratic liberals are a positive force and a good for society. Sadly they have became synonymous with the “new” far/radical left to many, the squad comes to mind. The far leftists have much more in common with the 30 that traveled chugging secretly by train in the night over the Polish border in 1917 than they do with “liberals”.
