The Educational Coach will work as a colleague with classroom teacher(s) to support student learning in all content areas from PreK to 8th grade students. The Educational Coach will focus on individual and group professional development that will expand and refine the understanding of research-based effective instruction. In order to fulfill these expectations, the Instructional Coach will provide personalized support that is based on the goals and identified needs of individual teachers in support of the school improvement action plans. Facilitate the intellectual and processional development of students.  Create positive relationships with students, teachers and administrators.   Communicate effectively with all members of the school and community.  Encourage professional growth and provide organized, individual and/or group learning opportunities for students.  Assist teachers with designing instructional decisions based on assessment data and culturally responsive practices.  Assist teachers in creating materials that are in alignment with curriculum.  Instruct and support teachers with curriculum software products, and classroom/curriculum related technologies.  Support, implement and assess various instructional programs and program effects on student achievement.  Participates in goal/plan setting and evaluation. Assist teachers with specific classroom activities when requested.  Provide support for classroom motivation and management strategies.  Manage time and schedule flexibility that maximizes students schedules and learning.  Assist with development of school curriculum, instruction and assessments.  Attend workshops/conferences to learn about new innovative instructional strategies Ability to provide encouragement and emotional support to students. Regularly required to talk and listen.  Job Type: Part time or Full Time Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour
