5 year old cat needs a home without a dog

Our cat needs a new home, to no fault of his own. We got a dog a year ago, and though we hoped the dog and cat would learn to get along, they have not. Bernie is a fairly shy cat and loves attention for about an hour a day. Otherwise, he is happy to lounge on his own. He is sweet, but is naturally shy, so he will probably hide for a few days while he acclimates to his new home. It will be hard to say good bye, but I think he will be happier without a dog to navigate constantly. Bernie will come with all of our cat supplies (litter box, litter, food, brush, treats, etc.). We will charge a small rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a good home.
