Job Description Bi-Lingual Supervise and train maintenance crews on all aspects of grounds management services Schedule and monitor daily workloads Safe driving of company-owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members Maintain weekly mow, edge, trim accounts. Maintain shrubs, weed-free beds, light tree pruning, leaf removal etc. Ability to read and properly install landscaping plans as needed. Understanding of drainage and how to properly set/install pipe. Assist in making sure all necessary equipment is available and secured for each day’s work Assist in maintaining necessary materials for day-to-day operations Accurately record all work performed and materials used on Daily Construction Report Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company Notify mechanic of any equipment in need of maintenance Make daily contact with Lawn Maintenance Supervisor Load/Unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks/trailers Keep vehicle(s) clean and free of debris, garbage, etc. Truck(s) must be washed on a weekly basis Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors Assist with recruitment of team members for the division Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment: Mowers - Push, walk-behind and riding Tillers, aerators, slit seeders Edger, string trimmers, and chain saws Backpack blowers and sprayers Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes, and pruning tools Other duties as assigned. Help in other divisions such as installation or floriculture as needed Perform snow removal in the winter months – shovel, blowers, salting, etc. Required Skills Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis 3+ years in the field as foreman or supervisor Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis Ability to work outside in all weather conditions Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks Must wear work boots, uniforms and present yourself in a clean and professional manner Must be able to work with minimal supervision Must practice safety at all times Must wear company-provided PPE Must have valid MD Driver’s license and maintain a good driving record Must pass a criminal background check Must have good communication skills and the ability to motivate others Must comply with Precision Landscaping policies and procedures Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
