Guitarist/bassist dad needs jam partners

You read it right. I'm a middle-aged dude with an electric guitar, learning bass and keys, okay voice, looking for fellow dabblers interested in jamming with an aim toward potential open mics around here. Maybe. Eventually. I won't bore you with a huge list of interests and influences, except to say that for me musical history probably peaked with "The Ballad of John and Yoko." I dig heavy rock sounds/punk/etc but also lately just listening to Vulfpeck and worshiping at the bass nerd altar of Sir Paul McCartney. Probably more interested in doing great covers and interpretations than writing original stuff. If you're in a similar place (drums, vocals, guitar, keys, whatever) let's chat about it. Playing by myself is booooring.
