Keyboardist looking to join or start funk band

Hey there, keyboardist with several years of gigging experience playing funk/soul/RnB looking to start a new project. Covid unfortunately kind of deflated the last band I was playing with. The main focus would be putting together original tunes but I'm up for some covers. Into all kinds of funk/RnB but have a soft spot for 80's funk and brit funk like Incognito. To clarify, when I say funk music I don't mean white, jam band music that seems to predominate the front range. I'm talking Maze, Chaka Kahn, Luther Vandross, Tom Browne, Shalamar, etc... I'm in my late 20's with very few obligations other than my 9 to 5 and I'm looking for other like-minded musicians that keep open calendars for gigging and eventually recording.
